About Solus Christus
This ministry seeks to direct people daily towards Christ, entire obedience, total surrender, and continuous spiritual growth. The devotions are made carefully available in several languages so that language does not create an unnecessary distance from the message.
Founder
Gideon Pereira
Gideon is from Pretoria, South Africa, and currently lives in the Netherlands. Afrikaans is his first language; he also speaks English and Dutch. Bible teaching, discipleship and spiritual growth have long been important areas of interest to him.
The writings of Oswald Chambers have influenced him personally for many years. He read My Utmost for His Highest almost daily over a period of almost six years and wants to make content that has helped him carefully accessible to readers in different languages.

About Oswald Chambers
Oswald Chambers (1874–1917) was a Scottish evangelist and Bible teacher. His teaching emphasised the reality of life with God, full surrender, and obedience made visible in ordinary life.
His work My Utmost for His Highest is currently the only source for the devotions sent out by Solus Christus. However, this website is not an official website of Oswald Chambers, Our Daily Bread Ministries or utmost.org.
